There are multiple paths to accelerating positive impact business in the Amazon: PPA has a map.
The campaign Paths to the Amazon It aims to strengthen the Amazon impact business ecosystem, reinforcing the role of PPA as a platform for leveraging opportunities and promoting acceleration programs in the region.
In the next weeks, PPA will promote in its digital channels a series of activities to deepen the various understandings of impact on the ecosystem. We want to embrace different types of businesses that impact the Amazonian reality, seeking adherence to local issues and offering support to the wide spectrum of initiatives and solutions that already exist in the Amazon. Are you or your organization agents of change in this ecosystem?
Participate, share and explore the different paths with us!
THE Acceleration Thesis emerged from a dive into the Amazon context made by actors extremely qualified for this work - the Partners for the Amazon Platform (PPA), a platform for collective action led by the private sector that seeks to promote sustainable development solutions, and Quintess, an impact accelerator with more than 10 years of experience and which works with entrepreneurs, large companies, investors and institutes/foundations, promoting the innovation, positive impact and ESG agendas.
Through the study, PPA mapped new possibilities for accelerating different types and stages of businesses with a socio-environmental impact that operate in/with the Amazon. After a deep immersion, the most characteristic challenges of the biome were identified. The Thesis indicates the possible paths to accelerate businesses that represent solutions to these challenges, within 4 axes: Bioeconomy, Regeneration and Restoration, Carbon/Climate and Sustainable Supply Chains.
