The Partners for the Amazon Platform (PPA) launches today (19) the campaign <strong>Diverse Mosaic<\/strong>, which seeks to debate the role of the private sector in the conservation of the biome and its articulation with other actors.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The campaign carried out by the private sector collective action platform will feature events and actions aimed at highlighting the potential and benefits of this conservation. For the PPA, the participation of companies is key to driving change towards sustainable industries that also bring development to the population of the Amazon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cMore and more companies, institutes and foundations have taken on a leadership role in promoting socio-environmental transformations, bringing financial resources and innovations that aim to improve viability, ensure sustainability and project the scalability of community development efforts and conservation of Amazonian biodiversity\u201d, comments Augusto Corr\u00eaa, Executive Secretary of PPA.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In addition to giving visibility to good business practices and disseminating relevant data on Amazonian value chains, the campaign will promote dialogue and exchange of experiences between business leaders and actors who are making a difference on the ground.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u201cWe at PPA understand that it is essential to encourage local and private sector actors to create a tradition of cooperation among themselves. We believe that in this way we will be able to facilitate the collective construction of successful solutions to the problems that currently plague the Amazon,\u201d reinforces Augusto.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Diverse Mosaic campaign will run from April to June on PPA and partner digital channels.
