Connections, projects, and territorial solutions that impacted more than 6,000 people in the second half of 2025.<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Between July and December 2025<\/strong>, The Partners for the Amazon Platform (PPA) has made progress in building socio-environmental solutions from within the territories. More than just numbers, this period reflects processes: Projects that are consolidated, governance that is strengthened, and connections that are expanded between communities, the private sector, and climate financiers.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Throughout the semester, the PPA portfolio, with initiatives such as the Middle Juru\u00e1 Territory Program (PTMJ), Ing\u00e1 Project, Mau\u00e9s Guaran\u00e1 Alliance (AGM) and Paric\u00e1 Program<\/strong> \u2014 generated significant impacts on forest conservation, productive inclusion, and institutional strengthening.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Middle Juru\u00e1:
governance that supports

Co-financed by Natura, the Middle Juru\u00e1 Territory Program concluded its cycle, consolidating advances in community governance and the oilseed supply chain.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

They were 2,269 people benefited<\/strong> and about 3 million hectares conserved<\/strong>. Among the milestones are the strengthening of local assemblies \u2014 with greater participation of women and young people \u2014 and the acquisition of a mechanical chestnut cracker for AMARU, expanding production capacity and income generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Supported by Alcoa, the Ing\u00e1 Project has made progress in socio-bioeconomy and women's entrepreneurship.

With 719 direct beneficiaries<\/strong> and 114.26 hectares restored<\/strong>, The project implemented 25 meliponiculture units and strengthened local income generation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In the area of entrepreneurship, 70 women<\/strong> They participated in "Empreende no Zap" (Entrepreneurship on WhatsApp), while field actions and spaces such as the Sustainability Observatory reinforced territorial governance.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Mau\u00e9s: when the territory meets and organizes itself<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

The Guaran\u00e1 Alliance of Mau\u00e9s mobilized more than 800 people<\/strong> and contributed to the conservation of 40,300 hectares<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The highlight of the period was the AGM Forum and Fair, bringing together communities, cooperatives, and public authorities to discuss climate challenges and build joint pathways \u2014 including the 2026 Operational Plan.

Territorial communication also gained strength with the radio program. \u201c"AGM Hour"\u201d<\/strong>, expanding the dialogue
with the communities.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n

Southeast of Par\u00e1:

Co-financed by Suzano, the Paric\u00e1 Program benefited 2,494 people<\/strong> and supported the sustainable management of 77,245 hectares<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The \u201cLocal Solutions\u201d initiative allocated more than R$ 225 thousand<\/strong> to community projects, strengthening family farming and sustainable supply chains.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Among the institutional advancements are the creation of COOPRAF and the development of the Diagnosis of Family Farming in Rondon do Par\u00e1, supporting territorial planning.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Connecting territory
and the global climate agenda<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

The semester also marked progress in the institutional performance of the PPA.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During COP30 in Bel\u00e9m, the Platform reinforced its role as a bridge between global climate finance and local solutions. It was in this context that it launched the study. \u201c"Climate Change and Amazonian Resilience"\u201d<\/strong>, highlighting how communities are already responding to the climate crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Another milestone was the workshop on Payments for Environmental Services (PES), held in Manaus with GIZ, which resulted in the creation of five prototypes aimed at valuing the ecosystem services of indigenous peoples and traditional communities.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

What lies ahead is already under construction.<\/h1>\n\n\n\n

Based on the lessons learned during this period, PPA continues to strengthen its role as a facilitator of territorial solutions for the Amazon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
