The study “Socio-environmental uses of private reserves: diagnosis and perspectives for sustainable land use” is part of the Thematic Group 4 (GT4) of the PPA, which aims to consider contributions from the private sector to sustainable development and conservation of biodiversity in the Amazon through the promotion of territorial development. It is in this context that the contribution of the study proves relevant, as it aims to highlight a repertoire of how companies engage in initiatives for the socio-environmental use of their forest reserves, in addition to offering perspectives for building partnerships with society, in a way that makes them references for a sustainable and inclusive territorial development model.
