I would like to begin with a brief poetic license, evoking the wisdom and simplicity of Cora Coralina. After all, this poem of hers represents the year 2021 very well for PPA. A year of consolidation, institutional strengthening and also of much learning. After all, any initiative that aims to be an agent of promotion of socio-environmental sustainability in a complex, rich and grand region like the Amazon must view this mission as a collective and long-term effort. A work woven by many hands, tinged with many flavors and accents and, above all, a mission that places at the center the people who are in the territory, who live their reality and who fight to transform it.

It was in this spirit that 2021 was marked for PPA. Without a doubt, it was an important turning point in its trajectory. A year of consolidation of its Executive Secretariat team, of important advances and deliveries of the Platform for the Amazonian social innovation ecosystem, of its institutional growth and of so many challenges and lessons learned. Throughout this Report, the reader will be able to find a good sample of these issues in more detail and visualize more clearly the beautiful journey of PPA so far.

Communication campaigns, countless events and meetings between members and partners, a robust portfolio of projects transforming realities at the cutting edge, a highly innovative Acceleration Thesis produced and delivered to the ecosystem, a portfolio of over 100 businesses with socio-environmental impact. In short, countless results and important deliverables to be celebrated. After all, in 2022 PPA will complete 5 years of existence: a journey that, although short, illustrates very well all the dynamism and complexity that the Amazon context imposes on us. Certainly, the journey so far has solidified the foundations to sustain this growth and to support new bricks that will be added to this edifice called PPA. After all, when it comes to the Amazon, challenges and opportunities always acquire grand dimensions.

Finally, to conclude this opening, nothing could be more providential than to resume poetic license. Perhaps this is the PPA's journey: to sow good ideas, good projects and good partnerships. The Platform has space for all those who, like it, are committed to the socio-environmental sustainability of the territory and the development of its communities.
