Sustainable Connections is a Public Call Platform to finance social projects that aim to promote the development of the Municipality of Barcarena by carrying out the Hydro Sustainability Fund (HSF) and which has a partnership with Partners for the Amazon Platform (PPA) and USAID. There will be three calls that, over two years, will primarily benefit local community organizations that face difficulties in accessing credit opportunities. 

The Calls are made through an instrument containing the rules of participation and forms of evaluation and classification of projects. The organizations, whose projects are eligible to receive funding, will participate in training cycles to improve their skills in planning, managing and implementing projects, as well as fostering network partnerships. All execution will be the responsibility of Sustainable Barcarena Initiative (IBS), which will monitor the development of the financed projects.
