About the project

Initiative of the Sustainable Connections Institute (Conexsus), the 'Sociobioeconomy in the Amazon: financing and developing more sustainable community businesses' is carried out in partnership with the United States Agency for International Development (USAID) and the Partners for the Amazon Platform (PPA), with the support of the Bioversity Alliance – CIAT and the Norwegian International Climate and Forest Initiative (NICFI).

The project, which will last 3 years, aims to develop community businesses with a socio-environmental impact in the Amazon, through solutions aimed at qualifying their management and capitalization, in addition to supporting the ideation and design of solutions that contribute to activating their regional business ecosystems.

designing solutions that contribute to activating your business ecosystems through
organizational strengthening of 100 community businesses with socio-environmental impact in
Amazon and the implementation of a broad effort to map business ecosystems
in eight Amazonian territories.

Acre, Amapá, Amazonas, Mato Grosso, Pará and Rondônia.
