About the AGM Fund
The Guaraná Alliance Fund of Maués is the main mechanism for supporting community initiatives of AGM. It was created to foster local solutions developed by the communities themselves, strengthening the protagonism of the territory, social organization, and sustainable development of Maués.
In 2026, the Fund will open a new cycle of support for projects that address the challenges and opportunities of the municipality, valuing the culture of guarana, socio-biodiversity, the local economy, and community participation.

Who can participate?
Organizations operating in Maués can apply, such as:
- community associations;
- cooperatives;
- local non-profit organizations;
- rural unions;
- women's groups;
- youth groups;
- formally constituted indigenous peoples.
The organization must have an active CNPJ (Brazilian tax ID) for at least 2 years, be in good standing, and operate in the municipality of Maués.
Community groups and local networks without a CNPJ (Brazilian tax ID) can participate in partnership with a formalized organization, which will be responsible for managing the resources.

What will be supported?
The call for proposals will allocate R$100,000.00 to support up to 4 projects in Maués.
Each proposal may request up to R$ 30,000.00, depending on the scope, duration, and maturity of the initiative.
The projects may last from 3 to 6 months, with execution scheduled between October 2026 and April 2027.
What can be financed?
- materials, supplies, equipment and goods needed for the project;
- consulting and technical services;
- Training sessions, workshops, community outreach programs, and educational events;
- Payment for the team directly involved in the project;
- Environmental restoration actions and agroforestry systems;
- administrative expenses related to the project, up to 10% of the approved amount;
- Bank charges related to the project account.
Required documents
- Updated Articles of Incorporation or Bylaws;
- CNPJ card issued no more than 3 months ago;
- Minutes of the election of the current board of directors;
- updated negative certificates;
- Bank statement with details of the project's exclusive account;
- RG and CPF or CNH of the legal representative.
What will the selection process be like?
The proposals will be evaluated in two main dimensions:
Eligibility: Review of formal requirements, documentation, deadlines, and organizational profile.
Merit: Assessment of alignment with the AGM axes, territorial impact, feasibility of the proposal, institutional capacity, innovation, and community engagement.
Support for organizations
During the registration period, the AGM/PPA team may carry out guidance, dissemination, and question-and-answer activities, including communication via radio, WhatsApp, in-person visits, and possible registration support sessions.
